      I was checking my homework for making bar lines on Lord I Have Cried. I attached a link to the screenshot, but in the 3rd line from the bottom, the gorgon above “”voice”, the answer key has it as a 1/2 beat, 1 beat measure. But I thought a gorgon above a yporroe only affects the 1st note of the yporroe, so the measure should be a 1 beat, 1 beat measure. Is the answer key incorrect here or am I getting it wrong? Thanks

        I’m Courtney. I attend St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Clarksburg, West Virginia. This will be my 3rd course at TSBM. I’m looking forward to diving back in and learning more.

          I’m Courtney! I attend St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Clarksburg, WV, USA. I was tonsured as a chanter and reader by our bishop in March, 2026! I took Byzb101 last term and am looking forward to learning more with everyone this term. I just finished my Grief Educator Certification Friday, and am picking chanting school back up today! So thankful to God for all these learning opportunities! I am smitten with chanting; it’s so beautiful!
