Workshops
Below, you can see photos from the 2022 St. George Workshop, as well as read testimonials from participants.
"The instruction was fantastic. Amy's pedagogy is solid, well sequenced, and she really knew how to move a class along, even with people learning in different ways and at different paces." - Richard F
"Applying what we covered in class immediately into the services made the concepts and technique stick so much faster than just classroom learning." - Matt C
"The opportunity to meet other chanters and to realize the vibrancy of this art form in our country was invaluable."
"This was a great workshop. The content was relevant and expertly taught. The food was excellent with great variety. And the program was intense without being exhausting." - Larry K
"Worshiping together with Vespers, Orthros, and Liturgy daily was maybe the most uplifting part of the whole weekend. Coming from a very small parish in a remote area, with few other Orthodox Christians around, much less others interested in an in-depth study of church music, this was such a meaningful and comforting experience." - Richard F
"I did not expect to come away with additional practical knowledge on how to effectively guide and help others to chant, both in a classroom setting and during services as a choir at the analogion. It was an exceptionally valuable experience that gave me more confidence, tools and skills than I had expected. I accomplished more in three days in an in-person group under great leadership than I would have independently for weeks on my own." - Demetrius P
