This course is an asynchronous course, which means that there will be no Zoom practice sessions for the course. You work through the course at your own pace. In this course you will learn how to read isokratema in scores, the various intervals used, and how to maintain a stable pitch. You will also learn about different approaches to isokratema, how to direct it, and practice isokratema in all eight modes. Students do not need to read Byzantine notation to benefit from this course.
