This course is an asynchronous course, which means that there will be no Zoom practice sessions for the course.  You work through the course at your own pace.  In this course you will learn how to read ison, how to get the notes right, how to maintain a stable pitch.  You will also learn about different approaches to ison, how to direct ison, and practice ison in all eight modes.  Students do not need to read Byzantine notation to benefit from this course.
