This class will provide introductory principles to interpretation through the lens of a variety of of repertoire found throughout the great feasts of Christ and the Theotokos. It will focus on the different ornaments, how to incorporate ornaments heard in recordings found publicly by master chanters, and how to build up some basic principles that will allow the student to build their own style of ornamentation.

Prerequisites: Octoechos 200 level classes, or approval from TSBM instructor(s). If you wish to request an evaluation, please send an email to info@trisagionschool.org with the subject line “Evaluation Request.”
