Advanced Directed Study: T1 2026
In this advanced course, students take an active role in shaping their learning by selecting repertoire to study and present. Under the guidance of the instructor, each student will propose scores for approval, then work through them collectively in class with focused feedback on interpretation and execution. The course will also incorporate repertoire chosen by the instructor to broaden exposure to a range of liturgical contexts and musical challenges. Directed Study is designed for experienced chanters who are ready to refine technique and expand their repertoire in an online class environment.
Enrollment in this class includes enrollment in Voice Lab 100. Students are encouraged to look at Voice Lab topics and attend sessions that interest them.
